Nursing This fully accessible, energy-efficient, state-of-the-art building provides for an extremely high level of training for professional health practitioners on site. “The new facility offers more opportunities for students to work in a clinical laboratory setting,” says Dale Scalise-Smith, Ph.D., director of UC’s physical therapy program. “It allows for greater self-direction in learning and helps build clinical experience, which is a critical component in the physical therapy profession.”
