Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween Utica College!

Every year, I start thinking about what I want to be at least a month prior because I always want to do something crazy or clever. Although, I will have to admit it… last year I was Cinderella. I know being a princess is not that original or clever but I loved it! Who wouldn’t love being a princess for a night? I mean, definitely didn’t mind.

Earlier in the month I was in Target doing some shopping and I saw a banana costume laying around in one of the aisles. Of course I put it on! It was hilarious to see my friends’ faces when they turned around and saw me in the costume. While my friends continued to laugh, a little girl at the end of the aisle said, “daddy, why is that girl dressed like a banana?” It was so funny, so I thought I would share!

First time in this crazy costume!

Hot diggity dog, we have gone bananas!

My Halloween plans:

From 6:00 – 8:30 tonight, there will be Residence Hall Association’s Annual Haunted House in South Hall’s basement. My first year at UC, I walked through and was really spooked. I do not like things popping out at me, so I definitely was screaming. I became a member of RHA last year and was actually apart of the haunted house. The theme of our room was a crazy hospital scene. It was so much fun! This year I will be dressing up again to scare anyone who dares to enter. My three good friends and I have our own room and the theme is a ballerina studio. I do not want to spoil any of the details, so you will have to come and see it for yourself.

Later tonight, I will be having a third floor fashion show. My residents approached me with the idea of having a fashion show on our floor so they can show off their outfits before they go out! So at about 9pm tonight, I will be judging the best costumes within several different categories. Some categories I have in mind at the moment are the most creative, funniest, sexiest, cutest, and scariest. It is a spur of the moment event but I know it will be a blast!

I hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween!
