Set in one house but two time periods, Tom Stoppard's Arcadia follows the life of a female genius of the nineteenth century who has been erased from history and the present-day scholars who work together to uncover her legacy. Filled with witty banter, math, chemistry, physics, poetry, historiography, Romanticism, landscape design, love, dueling, biology, computer programming, and humor, there is something in Arcadia to interest every audience.
