Thank you for your interest in University Events and Conference Programs at Utica University! We hope you find our Web site helpful in acquainting you with our programs and in answering your questions.

Continuing professional education seminars … summer youth camps … special events … conferences … corporate training programs … these are just a few examples of the many programs that we offer and host each year. We work with the Utica campus community, as well as with external organizations in developing and coordinating a variety of programs. All of our programs share an educational focus and a commitment to lifelong learning.

In 2006, Utica University’s Office of Campus Events and Conference Programs was one of a select group of colleges to receive initial certification by the Association of Collegiate Conference and Events Directors-International.

Whether you’re looking to fulfill continuing professional education requirements or are interested in utilizing Utica University’s campus for an upcoming conference, I encourage you to contact us.

ACCED-I One-Stop-Shop certification assures clients that Utica University meets or exceeds the collegiate industry’s standards for conference and meeting services. Further, we can provide our clients with one point of contact for all services, one all-encompassing contract, and one itemized invoice.

IRS Tax Practitioner Fall Institute

Offered in partnership with the IRS and the NYS Department of Taxation each fall, this program addresses tax law updates and changes, as well as tax-related special topics. Featured speakers include tax specialists from the IRS and NYS Department of Taxation. Extensive resource materials provided. The program awards CPEs for accountants.

University Events and Conference Programs offers a variety of continuing professional education programs to assist dental professionals in meeting continuing education requirements needed for professional licensure and certification

Dr. Michelle E. Haddad Memorial Seminar

This full-day program, designed specifically for dentists and their auxiliary staff members, features presentations by the dental residents of Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare General Practice Residency Program, as well as a featured, keynote presenter. Topics include current interests, controversial trends, treatment options, and relevant case reviews. A variety of vendor exhibits are available throughout the day. Proceeds from the seminar benefit the Dr. Michelle E. Haddad Scholarship Fund at Utica College, the Dental Hygiene Scholarship Fund, and the Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare Continuing Education Fund. The seminar awards continuing professional education.

Utica University offers a variety of flexible meeting spaces and facilities to meet the needs of both small and large groups.

  • Concourse Atrium
    10,000 square feet multi-purpose conference/exhibition space with seating capacity for 400.
  • Auditoriums
    Four separate auditoriums with seating capacity ranging from 135-250.
  • Gymnasium
    14,000 square feet with seating capacity ranging from 800-2,000.
  • Conference Rooms
    Conference rooms with seating capacity ranging from 10-60, some with Internet access.
  • Classrooms
    Classrooms with seating capacity ranging from 10-40, some with internet access.
  • Computer Laboratories
    Networked computer laboratories offering both IBM-compatible and Macintosh computers with Internet access.
  • Residence Halls
    Both single and double occupancy available with accommodations for up to 750 guests.
    • Bell Hall: opened in 2006, features air-conditioned cluster-style accommodations with private baths.
    • Boehlert Hall: opened in 1999, features spacious, air-conditioned suite-style accommodations with private baths
    • North and South Halls: traditional residence hall accommodations
    • Alumni Hall: garden-style apartments with mini-kitchenettes and private baths 
  • Athletic Facilities
    Multi-purpose, state-of-the art, lighted stadium with artificial turf; competition-size swimming pool; Nautilus, weight, and aerobic dance rooms; racquetball, tennis, and basketball courts; sand volleyball court; and soccer, baseball, softball, and lacrosse playing fields.
