UMAIL: Important Info for Transfer Orientation The New Student Orientation team has been working hard to develop and plan a fun, informative, and safe Transfer Orientation for our new students! This year’s Transfer Orientation will be an online model that will allow new Transfer Students and their families to have early access to interactive information sessions to introduce you to UC resources, allow you to ask us all of your questions, hear about how we’ll be keeping you safe on campus this fall, and prepare you for life at UC! Orientation for Transfer Students is not required, but we highly recommend attending all of our virtual sessions through our Orientation platform. Additionally, if you would like to attend any in-person events with first-year students, please just be sure to register so we know you’re coming! Please register by visiting the Orientation homepage and clicking “Transfer Orientation." Once you’re registered, you will receive more information about the sessions and events being offered on campus that you can join. In-person sessions will take place from Thursday, August 20th to Saturday, August 22nd. Keep checking your UC email! You will receive a detailed virtual NSO schedule on Monday, August 3rd. The virtual NSO platform will go live on Monday, August 10th. Questions about registering for classes or your Financial Aid? Please contact Transfer Student Success Coach, Leigh Petryssyn at klpetrys@utica.edu or by calling (315)792- 3123. Please let our team know if you have any questions, we’re always happy to help!
