In your first year at Utica University, we recommend engaging with The Jeremy C. Thurston '00 Center for Career Readiness by: - Meeting with your Career Coach to create your personalized career development plan;
- Logging into Handshake with your Utica email and password. On Handshake, you can register for events, schedule appointments, browse job and internship opportunities, access resources, and more;
- Explore your interests, personality, skills, and values through a career assessment provided by your Career Coach. Your results will show majors and careers that are compatible with your assessment results!
Other opportunities to engage with The Center include: - Building/reviewing your resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile
- Practicing your pitch through a mock interview
- Attending networking events and job fairs
- Registering for career development workshops, etc.
