The enticing aroma of maple syrup, pancakes, breakfast sausage, and coffee will fill the air Sunday, May 7, at Donovan Middle School to benefit the Young Scholars Liberty Partnerships Program. All proceeds from this event will support the YSLPP’s mission to motivate teenage students to stay in school and pursue education after high school. The YSLPP provides in-school academic support, summer sessions and educational field trips for at-risk students in grades 7 through 12 from Donovan, JFK and Proctor public schools.

At this all-you-can-eat breakfast, Young Scholars students will serve up stacks of pancakes, along with unlimited servings of sausage, coffee, tea, and juice to the community. Tickets are $5 ages 12 and up, $3 for children ages 5 to 11, and free for all children under the age of 5. The breakfast will be served from 8:30 until 11 a.m. in the Donovan Middle School cafeteria, 1701 Noyes St., Utica. To order tickets in advance, please call the YSLPP office at 792-3237. Tickets will also be sold at the door.
