UC Offers AMA Certificate Courses

Workplace Communications, Management Skills Featured

Utica, NY (02/01/2006) - If you’re looking to get ahead in the workplace, UC may have just what you need.

The Certificate in Management program, offered by Utica College in conjunction with the American Management Association (AMA), will present seven courses this semester. The courses focus on topics such as planning and managing change, supervising skills, managing stress, interpersonal communications, and sharpening business-writing skills.

Classes will feature lectures, group discussion, and hands-on exercises. Courses are taught by local professionals in their respective fields of human resources, management, or communications.
