Utica, NY (03/26/2015) - On Saturday, March 28, Utica College’s office of admissions will host the first Accepted Students Day of the spring semester.  This weekend’s event is expected to be one of the college’s largest, welcoming more than 200 accepted students and their families to campus.

Donna Shaffner, assistant vice president for undergraduate admissions, said that the future pioneers in attendance promise to be one of the most impressive and diverse groups they’ve ever welcomed to campus.

Accepted Students Day gives prospective students and their families the opportunity to experience life as a UC student. They will be able to see the campus and all it has to offer, while also interacting with other accepted students that could potentially be their future classmates.

Sessions will include “Family Affair,” a parents and family-only panel discussion, and “In Your Shoes,” a session for accepted students to meet and talk with current UC students.

For more information or to register for future events, visit utica.edu/events or call (315)-792-3032.
