Utica, NY (02/05/2015) - Transitioning from high school to college can be a stressful and challenging time for high school students, as well as their parents. Utica College is hoping to ease the transition and help students and parents learn more about UC by hosting “Experience UC” days throughout the spring semester.Attendees of Experience UC will have the chance to immerse themselves in the UC community. Students will have the opportunity to attend a class, speak with admission counselors and enjoy lunch in the Dining Commons. Parents can get answers to questions about financial aid and take a tour of the campus. Students who attend Experience UC will receive a waiver of the Utica College application fee.
Check-in and registration begins at 8:30 a.m., with the day concluding with a campus tour at 1:30 p.m. The next Experience UC will be held on Monday, Feb. 9, with additional events throughout the semester. Pre-registration is required. Additional event dates and registration information is available at Utica.edu/events.
