Utica, NY (11/06/2014) - Utica College’s office of admissions will host an Open House on Tuesday, Nov. 11, for prospective students and parents to learn more about the college, its programs and the UC experience.

The Open House provides the opportunity for high school and transfer students to see if UC is the right place for them. Additionally, visitors can attend presentations about participating in the Utica College academic process, financing a college education, and getting involved on campus.

“An open house is the perfect opportunity for prospective students to come explore the campus and meet with their personal admissions counselors and future faculty members,” said Donna Shaffner, assistant vice president for undergraduate admissions. “It is the best way for students to experience what life as a UC students is truly all about.

“Parents and families are just as much a part of the college application process as the students. Because of this, we have designed the program to be full of important information like financial assistance options, navigating the FAFSA application and handling the changing family dynamic that occurs during senior year.”

To register for the event, or for more information about UC, contact admiss@utica.edu or call either 315-792-3006 or 1-800-782-8884.
