Jackson Lunch Hour Hosts UC Choir


Performance to Include Patriotic, Holiday Favorites

Utica, NY (11/19/2013) - The Professor Harry F. and Mary Ruth Jackson Lunch Hour Series welcomes the Utica College Concert Choir on Wednesday, Nov. 20 in the Library Concourse.

Selections include songs from The Sound of Music, as well as patriotic and seasonal favorites.

The Utica College Choir was reconstituted in Fall 2010 with David Kolb as its director. Kolb is an accomplished singer, theatrical performer, choir director, and educator. He is also director of music for the First Presbyterian Church in Rome. Accompanying him on the piano will be UC Dean of Students Alane Varga.

The Jackson Lunch Hour Series presents a series of musical and literary programs each semester. All programs are free and open to the public.
Literary programs are made possible with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts.
