UC to Host Utica Camera Club Exhibit
Popular Annual Exhibit to Close Fall Semester

Utica Camera Club annual exhibit always a favorite

Utica, NY (10/31/2013) - As part of Utica College’s Fall Cultural Events Series, UC’s Edith Langley Barrett Fine Art Gallery will showcase the works of the Utica Camera Club beginning Monday, Nov. 4 through Friday, Dec. 6.The exhibit will feature the works of the Utica Camera Club members, as well as those who entered pieces into the club’s monthly photography competitions.
An artist reception, featuring a question and answer session with the Utica Camera Club members, will be held on Monday, Nov. 4 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Library Concourse. The reception is open to the public, and guests are invited to bring their cameras to learn new tips and approaches from the members.
The Edith Langley Barrett Fine Art Gallery, located on the lower level of Gannett Library, is open Monday through Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.
The Utica Camera Club, established in 1923, is comprised of photographers of various ages and experience levels. The artists use a several mediums, such as film and digital, to create their pieces.
