Monday's Asa Gray Lecture Canceled


Replacement Seminar Slated for Nov. 9

Utica, NY (09/04/2013) - The Sept. 9 lecture by Rebecca Pinder, sponsored by the Asa Gray Society at Utica College, has been canceled.  Pinder, adjunct instructor at Columbia-Greene Community College, was to speak on “The role of earthworms living in riparian zones: predator-prey interactions and nitrogen cycling.”

The Asa Gray Seminar Series, sponsored by the Asa Gray Biological Society, is the longest-running seminar series at Utica College. Scientists are invited from throughout the region to present on their ongoing research.

All lectures are held in Donahue Auditorium, Gordon Science Center, on the Utica College campus at 4 p.m. An informal reception immediately follows.

A replacement seminar is planned for Nov. 4; details will be available soon.
