Accomplished Piano Technician to Speak at Utica College

Utica, NY (10/09/2012) - The Professor Harry F. and Mary Ruth Jackson Lunch Hour series hosts Daniel Fusco, an accomplished piano technician, on Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 12:30 p.m. in the Library Concourse.Daniel Fusco has been honing his skills in woodworking and metal arts from the age of 5, coupling those skills to a strong affinity for music. Fusco’s clients for piano work include Mstislav Rostropovich, Peter Gabriel, Kenny Rogers, and the Julliard School of Music. He will discuss piano care and maintenance, as well as the important role Central New York has played in the history of piano manufacturing.
The Professor Harry F. and Mary Ruth Jackson Lunch Hour Series presents a series of musical and literary programs each semester. The series is sponsored by the Utica College Social Cultural Committee. All programs are free of charge and open to the public.
