All-American Rejects, Boys Like Girls to Headline UC's Fall Concert
Bands to Perform Sept. 16 at Utica Memorial Auditorium

Utica, NY (08/15/2012) - On Sunday, Sept. 16, The All-American Rejects and Boys Like Girls will take the stage for Utica College’s 2012 fall concert. The popular bands are a well-matched pair, both coming from a rock genre. In addition, TheReadySet, one-man pop band Jordan Witzigreuter, will open for the concert.Some of the All-American Rejects’ biggest hits include: “It Ends Tonight,” “Dirty Little Secret,” “Move Along,” and more recently, “Gives You Hell.”
Boys Like Girls are best known for their hits: “The Great Escape,” “Thunder” and “Two is Better Than One.”
Both the All-American Rejects and Boys Like Girls have recently released albums. The All-American Rejects released their latest album “Kids in the Street” on March 26, and Boys Like Girls released their latest album “Crazy World – EP” on July 17. Both albums can be purchased right now in stores and on iTunes.
The show begins at 7 p.m. in the Utica Memorial Auditorium, and doors will open at 6 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at UC’s office of student activities, at the Utica Memorial Auditorium box office or on Ticketmaster.com. Advanced sale student tickets cost $20, general admission tickets are $30, and tickets purchased the day of the show for both students and general admission are $35.
