UC Students to Present Research
Annual Student Research Conference Wednesday Afternoon

Utica, NY (04/24/2012) - What do sequence-specific DNA binding to proteins and archaeological interpretations of playgrounds have in common?These topics and many others will be discussed tomorrow at Utica College’s annual Student Research Conference. It will be held from 2:30 to 4 p.m. in the Donahue Auditorium, Gordon Science Center.
During the conference, students will present research applicable to current literary and scientific themes, through presentations and posters.
Judith Kirkpatrick, provost and vice president for academic affairs, will give opening remarks. Linda Zee, associate professor of Spanish, will speak present the keynote.
The event is free and open to the public.
Jennifer Yanowitz, assistant professor of psychology, and Alyssa Thomas, assistant professor of chemistry, are co-chairing the event.
