Renowned UC Alum to Give Speech at UC Tonight
Businessman Kunath to Provide Insight on Living Life to Fullest

Businessman of the Year, baseball team co-owner and UC alum Gary Kunath will speak to the UC community tonight about maximizing the enjoyment in life.

Utica, NY (03/19/2012) - Gary Kunath will speak on “Life…Don’t Miss It: How to Maximize Joy and Contentment in Your Life and Those You Lead,” Monday, March 19 at 7 p.m. in the Clark Athletic Center, Utica College.Kunath, a 1979 graduate of UC and last year’s commencement speaker, will present highlights from his book, “Life…Don’t Miss It,” and will illustrate how to dramatically maximize the enjoyment in life and how to live life to its fullest.
Kunath will share his “Ten Points of Life,” outlining a clear path on how to achieve a high life worth and stay connected to what truly matters. He also explains how to reduce the stress we face by the complexities of life itself and strengthen relationships with friends, family and people that you value.
Kunath believes life is not just about making a living; the true goal is how to make a great life. Kunath has put this belief into practice.
Kunath is the founder of The Summit Group, one of the top sales training and management development companies in the world. His business approach lead the U.S government to select him as part of a team to work directly with the top business leaders of Egypt to increase the country’s global competitiveness. He was named Businessman of the Year for the United States, and was formally recognized for this achievement at a dinner hosted by the president of the United States.
He has lectured in the Executive Education and MBA programs of Duke University, Miami University, Emory University and Cornell University.
Kunath holds a master’s degree in organizational development from the SUNY Binghamton, a bachelor’s degree in business administration/marketing from UC, and an associate in applied science degree in business management from Mohawk Valley Community College. He is also a graduate of Duke University’s Executive Development Program.
This event is open to the Utica College community and is free of charge.
