Utica, NY (11/29/2011) - As part of the Professor Harry F. and Mary Ruth Jackson Lunch Hour Series, Utica College will host the Society for New Music on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 12:30 p.m. in the Library Concourse. The society is comprised of a core of dedicated professionals who live in central New York, and are nationally and internationally renowned.
Wednesday’s performance will feature two current members of the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra: Cristina Buciu, violinist; and David LeDoux, cellist. Also, former member of the orchestra and famed area pianist Sar-Shalom Strong will perform as well.
Their performances will celebrate new music and the musically-inspired paintings of prominent artist Mark Sharp.
