UC Psychology Prof Finds Passion For Collaging

Utica, NY (08/02/2011) - Steven Specht, Utica College professor of psychology and award-winning collagist, will be one of three artists in the “Three Artists: On and Off the Wall Art Exhibit” at the Old Forge Library.
 
The exhibit starts Aug. 2 and will run until Sept. 3. Specht shares the exhibit with artists Victoria Zacek, fiber artist, and Suzanne Firsching, sculptural wall-hanging artist. The exhibit is free to all who attend.

There will be an opening reception that is free to the public on Friday, Aug. 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. Hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be served and those who attend will have the opportunity to meet the artists and discuss their work.

The Old Forge Library, located at 110 Crosby Boulevard, is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
