Corasanti Kicks Off Executive Lecture Series at UC


CEO to Discuss How to Run a Public Company

Utica, NY (11/16/2010) - Joseph J. Corasanti, president and chief executive officer of ConMed Corporation, will speak at Utica College’s first-ever Executive Lecture Series on Thursday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of Economic Crime and Justice Studies building at Utica College.

Corasanti’s lecture “How to Run a Public Company: Keeping Customers, Employees and Stakeholders Happy” will discuss methods and strategies that enhance and promote the management of public businesses.

Corasanti heads the Utica-based company that manufactures and distributes medical and surgical products worldwide from 11 manufacturing locations. He graduated from Hobart College with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a J.D. degree from Whittier College School of Law and was admitted to the state bar in New York and California.

The event is sponsored by the Business and Economics Program of Utica College and is free and open to the Utica College community and guests.
