Education professors discuss best teaching methods

Utica, NY (10/06/2010) - Utica College education professors Lawrence Zoeckler and Thomas Diana will present a Nexus seminar Oct. 15 (Friday) at 2:30 p.m. in the Willard Conference Room of DePerno Hall.

The "Improving Classroom Teaching Through Action Research" lecture will discuss how action research can be used to enhance education, organize classrooms and facilitate accomplishments.

The lecture will be based on data collected by teachers through tests, quizzes, homework assignments and classroom interaction.

“Improving Classroom Teaching Through Action Research” is sponsored by the Nexus faculty seminar series at Utica College. It is free and open to the public and refreshments will be served at 2:15 p.m.
