UC Offers Annual IRS Tax Practitioners' Institute


Accountants Can Learn 2010 Tax Law Updates

IRS and NYS Tax officials to review changes in tax law

Utica, NY (12/07/2009) - Utica College, in partnership with the IRS and the New York State Department of Taxation, will offer a tax practitioner institute on Thursday, Dec. 10.

The program, which addresses tax law updates and changes, will take place at the Radisson Hotel – Utica Centre from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Attendees can earn up to eight Continuing Professional Education (CPE) units for accounting, necessary for professional licensure and certification.

Joni Pulliam, executive director of corporate and professional programs, said, “Utica College's annual IRS Tax Practitioner Institute provides accountants and tax preparers with an excellent opportunity to learn firsthand about the 2010 tax law updates directly from the IRS and NYS Department of Taxation and Finance.”
