Utica, NY (11/10/2009) - Utica College will welcome prospective students and their families to campus on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 8:30 a.m. for the annual Fall Open House. The event allows prospective students and their guests to discover the many opportunities the college has to offer through interactive discussions regarding admissions, financial services, academics and student life. After the welcomes from President Todd S. Hutton and Patrick Quinn, vice president for enrollment management, there will be two panel presentations for prospective students and families. The Academic panel will have representatives from each program to discuss details and requirements for the majors and departments of the programs. The second panel will be the Student Life panel, or the “fun stuff” panel, as Kristen Bowers, director of admissions, put it. This panel will discuss quality of life and campus living issues.
The Student Life panel will talk about various activities, sports students can get involved in, as well as an overview of residence life. Following the panels, there will be a tour of the UC campus. For more information about Fall Open House, call Bowers at (315) 792-3006.
