UC's Nexus Series Kicks Off, Changes Schedule

Changes made to Spring '08 schedule

Utica, NY (02/12/2008) - Utica College’s Nexus series has made the following changes in its scheduled spring events.The first Nexus series talk will be held on Friday, February 15 at 2:30 p.m. in the Willard Conference Room, Deperno Hall. This event features Fred Zammiello, Ph.D., assistant professor of philosophy. The talk is titled “Why Dembski’s Design Inference Fails.”
Also, the speakers planned for March 28 and April 18 have been switched. Robert Halliday, Ph.D., will speak about “What Do the Empirical Sciences and Philosophical Ethics Have to Say to Each Other?” on March 28. Amy Lindsey, Ph.D., will address “Changes in Sensory Threshold to Tactile and Cold Stimuli after Experimental Spinal Cord Injury” on April 18.
All Nexus series events take place in the Willard Conference Room, DePerno Hall, at 2:30 p.m.
