Utica College will honor its December degree candidates with a reception on Sunday, Dec. 16 at 1 p.m. in the Harold Thomas Clark Jr. Athletic Center.
Approximately 180 students have completed the requirements for graduation.
Giving remarks at the reception will be Cecilia Friend, professor of journalism and recipient of the 2007 Virgil Crisafulli Distinguished Teaching Award.
According to UC Registrar Dominic Passalacqua, “The reception is an opportunity for the college community to recognize the accomplishments of those degree candidates who are completing their studies mid-year.”
Each student will be presented with the tassel to be worn as part of their academic regalia at the college's formal graduation ceremony to be held in May.
