UC Presents Open House for Potential Teachers, Administrators


Dessert Reception Will Showcase Suite of Masters Programs in Education

The College will host a special open house on Dec. 6 for those interested in becoming teachers or administrators.

Utica, NY (11/13/2007) -    Current teachers or those interested in teaching or becoming administrators will have an opportunity to learn about Utica College’s graduate education programs at a special open house on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m.
   Designed specifically for those who are interested in teaching or becoming administrators, the dessert reception will showcase the college’s suite of graduate education programs. These include childhood education; adolescence education; special education; childhood and special education; adolescence and special education; adolescence education: apprenticeship teacher certification; leadership and instruction for inclusive classrooms; as well as educational leadership and administration. There will also be information available on certificates of advanced study (C.A.S.) in the areas of school building leader and school district leader.
   The event will be held in the college’s Library Concourse on the lower level of the Frank E. Gannett Memorial Library. It is free and open to the public.
