Utica College Welcomes John Rowe

John Rowe joins UC as director of graduate admissions.

Utica, NY (06/08/2006) - Utica College has named John D. Rowe director of graduate admissions.Rowe comes to Utica College from Lyndon State College in Vermont, where he was an admissions counselor and transfer coordinator. Rowe earned a dual bachelor’s degree in communications and public administration from SUNY Cortland, and a master’s degree in speech communications from Syracuse University.
Also an experienced adjunct instructor, Rowe’s most recent position was in the business department at Lyndon State College, where he taught principles of marketing. With more than 20 years of experience in health and human services, he is a three-time recipient of the New York State Governor’s “Excellence in Public Health Education and Outreach” award.
A native of Moravia, N.Y., Rowe now resides in New York Mills.
