Forensic anthropologist, PT Prof Thomas Crist to speak about area excavations

Utica, NY (12/02/2009) - Thomas Crist, a nationally recognized leader in the field of forensic anthropology and associate professor of physical therapy at Utica College, will speak about some of his excavations in and around the Mohawk Valley in a special presentation this Saturday. Dr. Crist's presentations, "Bones From The Past—Analyzing Excavated Human Remains," takes place at the Oneida County Historical Society on Saturday, Dec. 5, starting at 1 p.m. in the main exhibit gallery.Dr. Crist's work has been featured on several nationally syndicated programs, on both the Discovery Channel and the Discovery Health Channel. Time will be available following his talk for questions.
The Oneida County Historical Society is located at 1608 Genesee Street in Utica. Admission is $2.00. Children ages 5 and under, and current historical society members, are free. All exhibit galleries will remain open during this event.
