KOSAKOWSKI NAMED ASSISTANT CROSS COUNTRY/TRACK & FIELD COACH
Head Coach Jason Rose announced the hiring of Jackie Kosakowski as the assistant cross country/ track & field coach at Utica College Thursday. Kosakowski is a 2005 graduate of The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA with a degree in Kinesiology. She was an 8-time All Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) conference team member, a 4-time All- ECAC selection, and was on the 2004 All-Southeast Region team in cross country.

Katrina Brumfield
BASHER, BADER AND BRUMFIELD NAMED ASSISTANT TRACK & FIELD COACHES
Head Coach Jason Rose announced the hiring of three new assistant track & field coaches at Utica College Monday. Katrina Brumfield (jumps), Jake Basher (throws) and Andrea Bader (sprints) will be responsible for assisting Rose with all facets of the indoor and outdoor track & field teams which will debut in the winter of 2009.

BUTLER NAMED EMPIRE 8 CONFERENCE SENIOR SCHOLAR-ATHLETE AWARD WINNER
Senior Amanda Butler (Utica, NY/Proctor) of the Utica College cross country team was named the 2009 Empire 8 Senior Scholar-Athlete Award women’s winner released by the conference office Wednesday. Butler shared the award with gymnast Frances Estes of Ithaca College. The award honors those student-athletes who best exemplify what it means to be a dedicated scholar and athlete over the course of their four-year collegiate careers.
