HARTWICK COMPLETES WEDNESDAY'S SWEEP OF UC

UTICA- The Utica College women's volleyball team lost to host Hartwick 3-1 (21-30, 30-20, 23-30, 11-30) on Wednesday night.

Juniors Karen Crisanti (Geneva/Geneva) and Meronei Vunibobo (Cathedral/Jamaica) contiune to do well for the Pioneers.   Crisanti had 19 digs, 8 kills and a block while Vunibobo had 12 kills and five blocks.  Freshman Melissa Austin (Beaver River/Castorland) and Brielle Swerdlin (West Morris Mendham/Chester, NJ) together contributed 17 kills on the night.

The Pionners continue play Wednesday October 11th against Empire 8 opponent  Ithaca College.  The game will be held at Clark Athletic Center at 7 pm.
