Soichiro Omi 2008-09: Named the ECAC Men’s West Rookie of the Week twice …Played in 14 games … Ranked second on the team with eight goals … Scored nine points total … Tied the school record with four goals in a single game as the Pioneers defeated Lebanon Valley (11/22/2008) … Netted two consecutive goals including the game winner as the Pioneers defeated visiting Cortland State 4-2 (1/10/09).
Personal: Former member of the Bradford Rattler of the Greater Metro Junior Hockey League … Led the GMHL in playoff scoring in 2008, tallying 36 points on 17 goals and 19 assists in 17 games played … He is currently pursuing a degree in
business-economics.
