Vincent Nucci 2008-09: Played in 20 games … Ranked fifth on the team with 15 points … Netted two power-play goals and one game winner … Scored nine points in conference play … ECAC Men’s West All-Academic Team selection … Ranks 21st on the college’s all-time scoring list with 36 career points (17 goals, 19 assists) in 55 games played … Scored three points on two goals and one assist in the Pioneers’ win over
eventual National Champion Neumann College (2/7/09).
2007-08: Played in all 26 games…Tallied 13 points on seven assists and six goals … Finished the season strong with six points in his final three contests … Netted two goals and added an assist in the Pioneers’ 12-0 win over Lebanon Valley (2/23/08) … Scored a goal and added an assist in
the Pioneers’ 6-2 loss to Manhattanville in the ECAC Men’s
West Conference Tournament (3/1/08) … Won the National
Italian American Foundation’s “Voyage of Discovery” Award
and traveled to Italy over the Summer … ECAC Men’s West
All-Academic Team selection.
2006-07: Collected eight points on four goals and four assists in nine contests … Scored three points in his first collegiate game when he netted two goals and added an assist in the Pioneers’ 9-0 win over Lebanon Valley (11/18/06) … Scored at least one point in six of the nine games he played in … His fourth goal of the season came in the Pioneers’ 8-0 win over Nichols College (2/4/07).
Personal: Former member of the Capital District Selects of
the Eastern Junior Hockey League … Vincent is the son of
Rosemarie and Alfred Nucci … He is currently pursuing a
degree in management.
