MEN'S HOCKEY NAMES 2009-10 CAPTAINS

The Utica College men’s hockey team announced team captains Thursday for the 2009-2010 season. Senior forward Aaron Jeffery (Brighton, MI) was named captain, while classmates Sean McKevitt (Clinton, NY) and Matt Jimenez (Santa Rosa, CA) were selected as assistant captains.

UC MEN'S HOCKEY RELEASES 2009-2010 SCHEDULE

The Utica College men’s hockey team released its 2009-2010 schedule Friday. The schedule features five teams who finished in the top 15 of the USCHO.com National poll last season, three NCAA Tournament participants, the 2007 and 2009 NCAA Division III National Champions and the USA Under-18 National Team which recently won the 2009 International Ice Hockey Federation World Championships in April.

PIONEERS LAND EIGHT ON ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM

The ECAC men’s west hockey released the 2008-09 All-Academic Team Monday and eight Utica College men’s hockey players earned all-academic team status. As a team, the Pioneers had the third most representatives on the all-academic team in the ECAC West falling short to Elmira College and Hobart College.
