Doug Herring 2007-08: Named to the Empire 8 All-Conference First Team for the second consecutive year … Averaged team-highs of 18.2 points per game and 4.0 assists, to go along with 5.0 rebounds per game … Played in and started all 25 contests … Scored a career-high 28 points in an 82-70 victory over Empire 8 Conference rival Ithaca College on Jan. 5, 2008 … Shot 43.6 percent from the field and 42.2 percent from behind the three-point arc … Scored double digits in all 25 contests … Currently fifth on the Pioneers’ all-time scoring list with 1,182 points.

2006-07: Named to the Empire 8 All-Conference First Team and was named UC Male Athlete of the Week twice during the season … Averaged 15.4 points, 4.1 rebounds and a team-high 5.1 assists per game while starting in every contest … Shot 46 percent from the field and 30 percent from three-point range … Led the Pioneers in scoring 10 times during the year and scored a season-high 26 points in the Pioneers’ 69-55 win over Skidmore on Dec. 5th … On Nov. 18th, Herring tallied a double double by scoring 23 points, dishing out 11 assists and also collecting seven rebounds in the Pioneers’ 99-82 win over SUNYIT in the UC Tip-Off Tournament Championship.

2005-06: Averaged a team-high 3.6 assists per game, to go along with 10.9 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.6 steals a game in 30 contests … Shot 48 percent (116-of-242) from the field and 45 percent (59-of-132) from the three-point line.

Personal: The son of Connie Perry-Lassic and Nate Lassic, Doug is pursuing a management degree.
