The Pioneers came out hot in the first inning of game two behind a RBI double from junior outfielder Abby Drew (South Glens Falls/South Glens Falls), which scored freshman Kim Martin (Holland Patent/Prospect). Rinae Olsen (Schalmont/Schenectady) drove in Drew and the Pioneers boasted a quick 2-0 lead in the top half of the first inning. RIT answered right back with a three run bottom half and never looked back posting 12 runs in the next two innings to seal the run-rule victory in five innings total.

Rachel Richards (Buffalo/Holy Angels Academy) and Cole each tallied five RBI a piece on two hits in game two, while sophomore shortstop Emily McPherson (Pompey/Fabius-Pompey) went a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI and three runs scored for the Tigers.
