Keith Scranton will begin the 2008 season as the kickers and punters special teams coach for the Utica College football program.

Scranton joins the UC coaching staff after coaching at Whitesboro High School from 2003 until 2007.  He graduated from Whitesboro in 1996 and earned all-conference honors in baseball and football. 

Scranton also coached at SUNY Brockport from 2000-2001.  He played four years with the Golden Eagles and was an All-American punter as well as a multiple ECAC Special Teams Player of the Week Award winner.  Scranton graduated from Brockport in 2001 with a B.S. in Business Administration. 

He currently resides in New Hartford.
