UC CROSS COUNTRY COMPETES AT NCAA ATLANTIC REGIONAL

The Utica College cross country program competed in the 2009 NCAA Division III Atlantic Regional hosted by Geneseo State at Letchworth State Park on Saturday. The men’s team finished 22nd out of 38 teams in the men’s 8,000 meter race, while the women’s squad placed 30th in its 6,000 meter competition. The meet marked the final event of the season for the Pioneers.

FEHRMAN NAMED EMPIRE 8 CONFERENCE RUNNER OF THE WEEK

Senior Robert Fehrman of the Utica College men’s cross country team was named the Empire 8 Conference Runner of the Week for the week ending Nov. 8, 2009. Fehrman was the top finisher for the Pioneers after posting a time of 29:10.3 over the eight-kilometer course at the ECAC Championships hosted by Williams College in Williamstown, Mass on Saturday.

UTICA PLACES 24TH AT ECAC XC CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Utica College men’s cross country team placed 24th out of 43 teams at the 2009 ECAC Division III Cross Country Championships hosted by Williams College in Williamstown, Mass. on Saturday. Senior Robert Fehrman was the top finisher for the Pioneers after posting a time of 29:10.3 in the men’s 8,000 meter race.
