Smarthinking is an online tutoring service now available to UC students. Smarthinking provides tutoring in a variety of subjects, some of which are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

With Smarthinking Online Tutoring, you can

  • Connect With a Tutor and interact live 
     
  • Submit your Writing for any class to the Online Writing Lab 
     
  • Submit a Question and receive a reply from a tutor
... and interact with your tutors in a variety of ways.

GETTING STARTED

Here is how to login to Smarthinking for the first time: 
  1. Click here for the "Forgot Password" form or click "Forgot Password" in the upper right-hand corner of this page.
  2. Enter your Utica College email address and click "both" to have your username and password sent to you.
  3. If you have trouble with this, please contact Rosemarie Pupparo at tutoring@utica.edu or call 315.792.3209
