Opportunity Programs

At Utica College, we believe a college education should be available to motivated students regardless of their financial background. With this goal in mind, the College's Office of Opportunity Programs helps students in need earn a college education through state-funded programs, special services, and tutoring. These programs help to finance an education and provide academic guidance - making the transition from high school to college an easy one. The program also reinforces the skills needed to achieve academic success.

Opportunity Programs consist of the following areas:

• Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP)
• Higher Education Opportunity Programs (HEOP)
• Summer Institute
• Tutorial Services

As part of Utica College's Academic Support Services Center, Opportunity Programs provides counseling, academic advising, mid-term evaluations, and progress reports.
