Omega Phi Beta (ΩΦΒ)
Founded on March 15, 1989 at the State University of New York in Albany, New York. It was founded by seventeen women of diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. It was the first Latina-oriented organization in the history of the University at Albany.
The organization’s goal, as its motto ("Serving and Educating Through Our Diversity") implies, is to help to create an outlet for all women through its emphasis on multiculturalism. We are an organization like no other, embracing all shades of women, with a strong focus on education, professionalism, service, and diversity.
