Tonight, I asked some students to answer one question… “What is one thing you love about Utica College?” It was interesting to hear everyone’s responses and see the impact that UC has on them personally. With their permission, I have shared their responses below.
Alexis Wilson, 18 years: “I love how everyone is so friendly.”
Tyler St. Louis, 20 years old: “I have met a lot of great people here!”
Dorm Simeona, 18 years old: “I feel that it has changed me for the better!”
Ben Smith, 19 years old: “It is cheap to go here!”
Shamari Kirkpatrick, 19 years old: “There is a homey feeling here, which I like because I didn’t have it in high school. I am happy to be a part of it.”
Calypso Carty, 21 years old: “I like that the classes are really small!”
Courtney Stocker, 21 years old: “I love being able to walk on campus and have a handful of people ask me how I am doing and be genuinely interested.”
Liz Schonhiutt, 19 years old: “I really love the community and how diverse it is here. I can always make friends!”
Krysta Ponek, 19 years old: “I really like the class sizes and the friends I have made here!”
Even though college might be stressful because of studying, papers, and tests… it is nice to look at the reasons why you love your school. I personally love Utica College because of the close knit community we have here, I have created lifelong friendships, I have had the opportunity to work with some incredible people, this school has pushed me to my limits, there are so many people on campus who want to see you succeed, and most importantly, has made me into the person I am today.
Take a moment to reflect on why you love Utica College!
