Utica, NY (09/03/2013)
- Utica College’s office of career services will host a Fall Volunteer Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. in the Library Concourse.

More than 20 organizations from Utica and the surrounding areas will participate to showcase volunteer opportunities in areas such as human services, education, health care, marketing and public relations. Representatives from each organization will be available to answer questions about the volunteer position, as well as the organization.

This event is free and open to the public.

“The impact made through volunteerism is tremendous,” said Halina Lotyczewski, director of career services at UC. “Those who volunteer not only accumulate valuable skills and experiences, but they also gain the satisfaction of knowing that they are making a significant difference in the lives of others and are building a better community.”

For more information, contact Lotyczewski, at 792-3087 or visit www.utica.edu.
