Physics



  1. Graduates will gain an understanding of the nature of matter, energy, and the interrelationships between them.
  2. Graduates with the B.A. in physics will gain a good scientific background for use in technology-related careers in business, law, management, optometry, or medicine.
  3. Graduates with the B.S. in physics will be prepared to practice applied physics or research engineering in government or industry, or to pursue a graduate degree in physics, engineering, or education.
