The ASDN program has partnered with the Utica College Bookstore to provide a comprehensive course materials bundle as part of your tuition. With the exception of two print titles, the required materials will be in a digital format. This approach is meant to keep with the trends in the health care industry and maintain the high standards of this program.
For your first semester, you will receive a tablet, two print books, and the first half of your required digital texts. The remaining digital texts will be delivered prior to the start of your second semester. The digital texts can be accessed via the cloud and can be downloaded to your tablet in case you are away from internet access.
The fee for all of the required materials is $1410. This one time charge will cover your course material needs for the duration of the program and will be factored into your tuition (in the form of a fee). This charge will appear on your bill. Additionally, this information will be available on your Student Account Summary. Financial aid can be used to cover these charges. If you have any questions regarding your account, please contact the Office of Student Financial Services at 315-792-3179.
Please note: You do not have to order any materials. They will automatically be ordered once you register for classes and you will receive them at orientation.
Please be advised: If, for any reason, you choose to withdraw from the program prior to the add/drop period, you will be refunded for the digital books. The two print books must be returned to the store for a refund. The tablet is refundable only if it is unopened and unused and returned prior to the conclusion of the add/drop period. If you choose to withdraw from the program after the add/drop period, you will not be able to obtain a refund.
If you have documented learning needs and believe that this textbook format will impact your ability to learn effectively, please inform your Success Coach right away.
As always, please feel free to reach out to your Success Coach if you have any questions or concerns.
