UC Presents Fall Open House

- Interested in attending Utica College? Come learn what Utica College is all about at the Annual Fall Open House, presented by the Utica College Office of Admissions, on Friday, Nov. 9 from 1 to 5 p.m.

The open house allows prospective students and their guests to discover the many opportunities the college as to offer through interactive discussions regarding admissions, financial services, academics and student life.

Registration will take place in Ellen Knower Clarke Lounge located in Ralph F. Strebel Student Center. Following registration, Patrick A. Quinn, vice president for undergraduate admissions, will open the event in the Library Concourse.

The “Your UC Experience” segment addresses many topics that can be confusing to incoming freshman: the college admissions process, paying for your college education, achieving academic success, athletics and student activities, residential life, study abroad, and much more. 

The open house also allows prospective students meet the faculty they could potentially be learning from during the “Meetings by Major” portion of the day.

“Establishing relationships with professors early on is great; it helps students to feel more comfortable when they arrive,” said Quinn.

The day will finish with dinner and a pep rally.
