|Description|| South Africa Celebrates 20 years of Democracy
On April 27, 1994 South Africa held a general election that voted Nelson Mandela into Presidential office and marked the official end of apartheid rule and racial segregation. On April 27, 2014—South Africa’s “freedom day”—South Africans will celebrate twenty years of democracy. This talk will participate in that celebration and reflection.
