High School Cybersecurity Career Day

This is a special annual event for high school students that are college-bound, have solid skills in computers, math, and science, and may be interested in a cybersecurity career path. Students participate in interactive sessions provided by UC’s cybersecurity faculty and professionals in the field. Lectures and workshops offer students the opportunity to explore and learn about the many career and internship opportunities available right here in the Mohawk Valley and nationally. Students may attend two of three Close-Up Sessions on these key topics: Steganography, Cryptography, and Digital Forensics. UC’s cybersecurity undergraduate and graduate degrees lead to jobs in law enforcement, the Department of Defense, government intelligence services, healthcare, financial institutions, Homeland Security, corporate and industrial security, and other industries where computer and information security are essential. Details will be posted soon. For more information, please contact Mrs. Karen Kaleta, Utica College’s Economic Crime and Justice Studies secretary, at 223-2432.
