Multicultural Retreat

In the Spring of 2006, the Utica College Diversity Committee and the Office of the President invited members of the campus community to attend a Multicultural Retreat at the White Eagle Conference Center in Hamilton, New York. The goal of the retreat was to engage participants in thoughtful dialogues and activities related to how to better understand the differences and similarities each person brings to the campus community. Facilitators from a nationally recognized organization, S.A.L.A.D. (Seeking Alliances through Leadership and Diversity) assisted in articulating ways in which diversity can be welcomed, celebrated and sustained at Utica College.
