Heritage Society
The Heritage Society has been established to honor those people whose vision and dedication has inspired an estate plan gift to support Utica College. The Heritage Society recognizes anyone who has made specific plans to support the College in an estate plan by one or more of the following methods:
- Provision in a Will
- Charitable Trust
- Charitable Gift Annuity
- Life Insurance Policy
- Gift of Property - life-use reserved
- Retirement Plan or IRA Beneficiary
The primary benefit of membership in the Heritage Society is the opportunity for benefactors to extend their influence beyond their lifetimes, helping to assure the future strength of Utica College.
Other benefits may include:
- income for the life of the donor and/or beneficiary
- generous federal income tax deductions
- reduction of federal estate taxes
- the opportunity to perpetuate special interests
